Terms of Service

1. Service description

TradingAgents Report (“Service”) provides automated multi-agent equity research reports and related product features for informational and research purposes.

The Service does not provide investment advice, personalized recommendations, brokerage services, portfolio management, or trade execution. Reports are research references only.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must use the Service only for lawful research purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity under your account.

Authentication is provided by Clerk. You must not attempt to bypass access controls, quotas, rate limits, provider terms, or security safeguards.

3. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, including by scraping or reverse engineering in violation of applicable law or our technical controls, interfering with service integrity, submitting unlawful content, or using outputs in a way that falsely presents the Service as a licensed advisor, broker, or execution venue.

Market data, news, model output, estimates, and generated conclusions may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Historical performance and simulated analysis do not guarantee future results. You remain solely responsible for evaluating any security, digital asset, or market decision and for obtaining independent professional advice where appropriate.

4. Subscriptions, credits, and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew according to the billing cycle shown at checkout until canceled. Plan changes, cancellation, payment methods, invoices, and billing history are managed through the Stripe Customer Portal where available.

Plan credits (points) are granted each billing cycle; unused plan credits clear on renewal or subscription termination unless we state otherwise in the product. Signup, referral, and admin grants to the regular account may carry across cycles according to product rules. Upgrades typically grant the plan-credit difference immediately; downgrades take effect next cycle. Refunds or lost disputes may claw back only unused plan credits. After cancel-at-period-end, the current cycle remains usable and does not renew.

Successful analyses deduct credits based on actual AI token cost (plan account first, then regular account where applicable). System failures that do not complete a billable analysis are not charged. Service availability, latency, and third-party model or data vendor uptime are not guaranteed.

5. Intellectual property and outputs

We and our licensors retain rights in the Service, branding, software, and documentation. Subject to these Terms and your subscription status, you may use generated reports for your internal research purposes.

You retain rights in content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR LOST-PROFITS DAMAGES, OR FOR TRADING LOSSES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON RESEARCH OUTPUTS. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms, the Service, pricing, credit rules, or supported providers. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, legal risk, non-payment, or abuse. You may stop using the Service and cancel a subscription according to the billing controls provided.
